Definition of Ancillary Relief
In accordance with the work A Dictionary of Law, this is a description of Ancillary Relief : A court order incidental to another order or application. It usually refers to a *financial provision order or a *property adjustment order made in the course of proceedings for divorce, separation, or nullity under the Matrimonial Causes Act 1973. Such orders are made on or after granting the decree.
