Assembly in North Ireland

The Northern Ireland Assembly is the devolved government of Northern Ireland. It is responsible for making and enacting laws on transferred matters in Northern Ireland. The Assembly sits at Parliament Buildings, Stormont Estate, Belfast. Members (MLAs) meet to debate issues and introduce laws to support the people of Northern Ireland. Each MLA represents her or his constituency, and there are 6 MLAs for each constituency.
