In relation to the legal history of the United States and the United Kingdom: The Atlantic Charter was a joint statement of peace aims espoused by Winston Churchill of Britain and F. D. Roosevelt of the United States. The agreement, which was negotiated off the coast of Newfoundland, was not an official document. Similar to Wilson’s 14 points.
