Chamber Meaning, as used in the UK Parliament
The Chamber is where the main business of the day takes place in each House. It is where all members meet to hear important announcements and to take decisions as a whole House.
Concept of Chamber
Traditional meaning of chamber [1] in the English common law history: A court; a treasury. Chambers: the private room of a judge; any place where he does business when not sitting in court. The King’s chambers: parts of the sea, included within lines drawn from one point of land to another, over which the nation claims jurisdiction, and where all hostilities must cease.
