Definition of Consumer-Credit Business

In accordance with the work A Dictionary of Law, this is a description of Consumer-Credit Business : Any business that comprises or relates to the provision of credit under *consumer-credit agreements regulated by the Consumer Credit Act 1974. With certain exceptions, e.g. local authorities, a licence is required to carryon a consumer-credit business.
