Definition of Council On Tribunals

In accordance with the work A Dictionary of Law, this is a description of Council On Tribunals : A body appointed under the Tribunals and Inquiries Act 1971 to report on the functioning and advise on the procedure of the more important administrative tribunals. Appointment is by the Lord Chancellor and Lord Advocate, who may refer any matter concerning any tribunal for a special Council report.
