Documentary Evidence in United Kingdom
Definition of Documentary Evidence
In accordance with the work A Dictionary of Law, this is a description of Documentary Evidence : Evidence in written rather than oral form. The admissibility of a document depends upon (1) proof of the authenticity of the document and (2) the purpose for which it is being offered in evidence.
