Abstract: A selection of records of the church courts in England belonging to the dean and chapter of Canterbury. Part A contains the oldest records, dating from the pontificate of Hubert Walter (d.1205). Parts B, C & D contain records from the Ecclesiastical Suit Rolls, principally records of litigation sede vacante in 1270-73 and 1292-94, some with parallel translation of the Latin, some with full Latin texts with English summaries.
