In accordance with the work A Dictionary of Law, this is a description of Enrolment :

The registration of an act or document on an official record. It used to be obligatory to enrol many documents in the Enrolment Office, a department of the Chancery Divisio Nearly all such obligations were abolished by the Judicature Acts 1873-75.
