Definition of Equal Treatment
In accordance with the work A Dictionary of Law, this is a description of Equal Treatment : The requirement, enshrined in the Treaty of Rome, that nationals of one EU state moving to work in another EU state must be treated in the same way as those workers of the state to which they have moved. There must be *free movement of workers throughout the EU and no discrimination in relation to pay, social security, and tax benefits.
