Definition of Exclusion Order

In accordance with the work A Dictionary of Law, this is a description of Exclusion Order : An order of the Secretary of State under the Prevention of Terrorism (Temporary Provisions) Act 1989 (now repealed) excluding a named person from Great Britain, Northern Ireland, or the UK in order to prevent terrorist acts aimed at influencing policy or opinion concerning Northern Ireland.
