Definition of Fraud On A Power

In accordance with the work A Dictionary of Law, this is a description of Fraud On A Power : An exercise of a *power of appointment that, although made to an object within the class chosen by the donor, was made in circumstances that render it void. Examples are when the appointor intended to obtain a benefit for himself or another or when there was a deliberate intention to defeat the intentions of the donor of the power.
