Definition of Greater London Authority
In accordance with the work A Dictionary of Law, this is a description of Greater London Authority : A body created by the Greater London Authority Act 1999 and consisting of the *Mayor of London and the *London Assembly. Its principal purposes are to promote economic development and wealth creation, social development, and the improvement of the environment in Greater London. The *London Development Agency was created to further the first of these aims.
