Northern Ireland Judicial Appointments Ombudsman (NIJAO) in North Ireland

The NIJAO investigates complaints from applicants for judicial appointments where maladministration or unfairness is alleged to have occurred in the process by:

NIJAC or Committees of the Commission;

the Northern Ireland Courts and Tribunals Service; or

the Lord Chancellor.
