Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman Meaning, as used in the UK Parliament

The Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman combines the two statutory roles of Parliamentary Commissioner for Administration (the Parliamentary Ombudsman) and Health Service Commissioner for England (Health Service Ombudsman).

The Ombudsman investigates complaints from members of the public about government departments, the NHS in England and other public organisations. Cases must be referred to the Ombudsman by an Member of Parliament.
