The following is an old definition of Peppercorn [1]: The berry of the pepper-plant. In England, ” one peppercorn ” is sometimes named as a nominal rent.A peppercorn rent is not a rent within sec. 3, subs. 4, of the Conveyancing Act of 1881, such peppercorn not being paid.
