Summary of Woolen Act: (1699)
In relation to the legal history of the United States and the United Kingdom: Passed by Parliament to prohibit the export and inter-colonial sale of certain textiles in an attempt to protect the British textile industry from forming colonial manufacturers. Colonists were to only supply raw material.
