Definition of Electromagnetic Compatibility
In accordance with the work A Dictionary of Law, this is a description of Electromagnetic Compatibility : The capability of electromagnetic products, such as computer equipment, machines, etc, to be used together without special modification. The EU electromagnetic compatibility directive, which is now part of English law, sets out the minimum requirements to ensure that the use of computers, etc., does not cause interference with other electromagnetic products.
