Definition of Adoption Service

In accordance with the work A Dictionary of Law, this is a description of Adoption Service : Under the Adoption Act 1976, the different services, collectively, that local authorities must provide within their area in order to meet the needs of *adoption. These services include provision of accommodation for pregnant women and mothers, making arrangements for placing children with prospective adopters, and advising people with adoption problems.
