In accordance with the work A Dictionary of Law, this is a description of Ancient Lights : An *easement acquired by lapse of time (See prescription) resulting from 20 years’ continuous enjoyment of the access of light to the claimant’s land without any written consent from the owner of the land over which the easement is claimed.
