Definition of Codifying Statute
In accordance with the work A Dictionary of Law, this is a description of Codifying Statute : A statute that sets out the whole of the existing law (i.e. both statute law and common law) on a particular subject. Such statutes are extremely rare; an example is the Law of Property Act 1925.
