In accordance with the work A Dictionary of Law, this is a description of Costs Reserved : An order for costs made in **interim proceedings (*interlocutory proceedings) by which the costs of the hearing in question are reserved for the decision of the trial judge rather than decided by the master or district judge at the hearing itself.
