In accordance with the work A Dictionary of Law, this is a description of Declaration Concerning Pedigree : A *declaration made by a person who has subsequently died, or to be inferred from family conduct, concerning a disputed pedigree of a blood relation or the spouse of a blood relation. The declaration must have been made before the dispute in which it is tendered as evidence had arisen.
