Definition of Deed of Gift
In accordance with the work A Dictionary of Law, this is a description of Deed of Gift : A *deed conveying property from one person (the donor) to another (the donee) when the donee gives no *consideration in return. The donee can enforce a deed of gift against the donor. Gifts made other than by deed are not generally enforceable (but see part performance).
