Definition of Four-Day Order

In accordance with the work A Dictionary of Law, this is a description of Four-Day Order : A supplemental order of a civil court fixing the time for the performance of an act in cases in which no time has been fixed by the principal order. In the Chancery Division this is known as a four-day order although four days is not invariably the time fixed.
