Abstract: Reprint of 1810-1828 edition published by Eyre and Strahan, London, edited by T. Edlyn Tomlins, A. Luders, et al. This is the authoritative edition when reference is required to statutes prior to 1714. It contains a copy of all statutes in force, or repealed, for the years 1235-1713. Earlier statutes are in legal French with English translation in parallel columns.

Vol. 1, 20 Henry III – 50 Edward III, with charters of liberties granted by Henry I., Stephen, Henry II., John, Henry III., and Edward I., as well as the statutes of Henry III., Edward I. (including the Statute of Westminster I of 1275, and the Statute of Exeter of 1285), Edward II., and Edward III.
